FHA & HUD Lending Through Hunt Mortgage Group
The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) oversees the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), the largest mortgage insurer in the world. While FHA provides insurance with home loans, HUD also provides FHA insured loans for the purchase, refinancing, construction and substantial rehab of apartments, assisted living healthcare facilities, and skilled care nursing homes.
HUD and FHA insured mortgages play an instrumental role in providing liquidity to the multi-family landscape. Since the mortgages are insured by the FHA, HUD-approved lenders can assume a greater level of risk and provide borrowers with the more competitive rates and terms in the market.
Hunt Mortgage Group is a licensed Fannie Mae DUS™ lender, a Freddie Mac Multi-family Approved Seller/Servicer, and a Federal Housing Administration (FHA) Multi-family Accelerated Processing (MAP) approved lender. Hunt’s lending professionals bring over 43 years of experience to provide clients with centralized negotiation, coordination, and pricing through long-standing relationships with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA.
